Article Abstract
In the clinical setting of ankle edema, headache, proteinuria, and elevated blood pressure,a 33-year-old woman developed a postpartum subarachnoid hemorrhage that was seen on computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.Angiography demonstrated diffuse cerebral vasospasm without other underlying pathology.Subarachnoid hemorrhage with vasospasm in pre- eclampsia, not previously documented in the absence of associated systemic or cerebral abnormality,is described.
